CBSE can release results by May 12

CBSE Board had decided to permanently stop the tradition of releasing merit list for the top performing students in both class 10th and 12th examinations. The objective of this decision is to reduce the prevalence of “unhealthy competition” among students. Last year, CBSE Board class 10th, 12th results were released on May 12, 2023. The overall pass percentage for class 10th was recorded at 93.12%, while the pass percentage for CBSE class 12th was 87.33%.
